Delete your account
How to delete your Relief account and all its data, with or without the app. Relief is made by Notrel LLC.
1In the app
- Open Relief and go to Profile.
- Under Your data, tap Delete account.
- Confirm twice. Your account is deleted straight away.
Want a copy first? Tap Export my data in the same place before you delete.
2Without the app
Email privacy@getreliefapp.com from the email address you signed up with, with "Delete my account" in the subject. You do not need to give a reason. We confirm it within one month, usually within a few days.
If you no longer have access to that email address, write to us anyway and we will find a way to confirm it is you.
3What is deleted
Your account and everything in it: your cycle, symptom, fitness and pregnancy data, including kick counts and contraction timings, your profile, your consent records, and any partner links. A linked partner loses access immediately. If you are a partner, kick counts and contraction timings you recorded for her stay in her record, no longer linked to you.
It is removed from our live systems straight away, and from our backups within 30 days as they are overwritten. It cannot be undone.
4What is kept
For 12 months we keep a record that the deletion happened, holding only an internal account number and a scrambled (hashed) form of your email address, so we can show we deleted your data. Nothing else.
Sleep you typed in by hand and your next pregnancy appointment are stored only on your phone, never with us. To remove them, delete the app, or in a browser, clear the site data for app-relief.com.
